Growing up participating in Performing and Visual arts, Samira is always looking for opportunities to promote artists and their work. She joined the HCAC Board in 2021 but has volunteered for the HCAC with ChalkFest since it's beginning.
As a hair stylist and salon owner, she believes she does art everyday and enjoys the fact that all types of art make the world a better place!

Retired from a 28 year career in the military and as a high school teacher, he enjoys working with young people in the church and community where he serves as a role model and leads by example. He is an avid animal lover and enjoys documentaries, autobiographies, reading, and listening to jazz. He is a lifelong lover of the arts who loves to travel to other countries where he meets the locals and indulges in the cuisine.

Tabitha Sosdian

Kat Novales
Kat Novales is a freelance photographer and creative consultant living in Harnett County, North Carolina. She retired from the United States Air Force in 2021, after 20 years of service. She served as the Superintendent of Public Affairs at Pope Army Airfield where her work was featured in various local and military websites, and publications.
Her desire to serve the local community led her to accept a position as the communications specialist for Harnett County Schools from 2022-2024. She poured her time and talent developing printed work, styling events, and story telling. Her award-winning body of work received multiple recognition from the North Carolina School Public Relations Association.
Kat is a dedicated arts advocate with years of experience in project management, organizational leadership and outreach. As a local small business owner and volunteer, she continues to serve Harnett County in addition to her professional work, by supporting local artists, schools, and civic organizations. She is invested in endeavors that seek to expand access to creative opportunities and promote cultural enrichment across the community.

Annie M Cameron
Currently retired with over 25 years of clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry. Desire to share work/life skills with this community organization. Interests include history, baking, puzzles, music and travel.
